SERPENTINE NECKFORM

Precious pieces.  A ripe and delicate pearl dangles from this elegant epoch neckform, claw-set with a substantial onyx cabochon. Created from forged and oxidized silver, this piece is darkly delightful in all its nuances.  The hook details are mechanical and tendril-like together, and secure this neckpiece onto the wearer.  The serpent-like form, which extends around the neck, is a hollow, bent spiculum.  The raised architectural setting cradles the onyx, and dynamically extends from the chest.  And - oh – the pearl.  A sizeable South sea specimen, it is suspended by two twisting tendril-like wire forms.  It is grown in the White-lipped Pinctada Maxima Oyster, the largest species in existence.

Absolutely succulent, and completely fierce.
